Squiggle Braid

When I worked at Cookie Cutters this was one of my favorite styles to do after I was done with a haircut! I even named it. I will not take credit for inventing it though. My co-worker Drew, taught it to us.

This is intended for little girls hair. If you are an adult and want to rock this look, be my guest. Hey, who am I to judge? It might look very sophisticated on you.

I started the braid just behind her bangs...

This braid is similar to the braid and bun I did on Kash. So I only add to one side, which will make twisting the braid back and forth mucho easy....

Keep pulling from the bottom but only with the top half of the hair...

When you get to the other side of the head, pull all of the hair that hangs in front of the ear into the braid....

Turn the hair and continue to the other side. If you have enough hair you can make 3 rows like Jacie's hair. I then put it in a pony tail and made a messy bun.

I think this is cool and looks super hard. People will be way impressed with your braiding skills! I did have to stick a couple bobby pins where her hair poked out because she has layers. Hope you're all enjoying your Super Bowl Sunday!
