Day 1

It starts with this picture...

I was playing with Jacie's hair (roommate/cousin) and I was knotting it and trying a few things. This is what I came up with. I love doing updos and thought it looked okay so I took a picture. Then thought, "What the hell?" and loaded it up to Pinterest. It got re-pinned, and then it was re-pinned again, and again and again.. It got repinned 16 times! It was fun and exciting. I wanted more of it. So that night, as ZiZi (my puppy) and I laid in my bed drifting off to sleep, I thought of The Daily 'do!

Now, I'm not the world's greatest hairstylist by any stretch of the imagination. I've been a licensed Cosmetologist for almost 2 years and I learn something new everyday. I work at a salon in Logan, Utah called Studio 170 and I love it. I work with some really great ladies who have been in the business for a long time and they teach me a lot. Im still building a clientele so when I'm not busy, I do what I can to help them out and learn.

One of my favorite things to do is styling, both formal and casual. I cant get enough of it. So you will probably see a lot of that. I also mess around with make up, nail polish, I am a hair product junkie and may even throw in some of my thoughts on fashion. I kinda love to cook and I am a big movie buff so those subjects might come up. Oh! and this monster>>>>>>>>>

keeps me on my toes, so she'll be mentioned from time to time.

This is just meant to be something I do for myself and a way to grow as an artist;get my creative juices flowing. If we both learn something new, all the better!
