Don't judge my disgusting fingers/hands. You be a hairstylist and TRY not to get color all over yourself. Its harder than it looks, especially for me. I have about a dozen OPI colors, which you'd never guess since I only wear about 2 of them, if that. I'm very rough on my nails and I'm always chipping my polish so I don't usually paint my nails. When I'm FLUSH WITH CASH I'll get an acrylic overlay that looks pretty and helps me not break my nails off. No white tips (or colored tips, I don't care for that look. Just sayin'), because the hair color stains it.This color is my latest purchase...
Damn those beauty suppliers! They put the new colors right up by the counter so I'm always buying them on a whim while I wait my turn. This one is called Fly, its one from the Nikki Minaj collection. She has about 2 more colors I want. I'd never put this one on my fingers, cus I'm weird like that. BUT my toes will have a fresh coat of this soon!
Nail Do's
- Use a base coat and a top coat for longevity. If you don't have a base coat specifically, use the top coat as one. But NOT vise versa.
- If you get polish on your skin, take a toothpick or cuticle pusher to quickly wipe it off before it dries too much. When you are all done. wrap a tiny bit of cotton around the tip of said toothpick/cuticle pusher, dip in polish remover and carefully wipe around the skin around your nails.
Nail Don't's
- Don't do more than two coats of color on a nail. More will make it clumpy and it will chip faster.
