WAKE UP.
Your hair should look like this....
If it doesn't, you cant do the hairstyle and should never come back to my blog again. Goodbye.
I jest, but you should have dry hair and "second day hair" works best.
These are the products I'm going to be using today...
and use it to tease out any bed head or separations in my hair. Having pillow hair is not a good look for you, my dude! Keep that around, you'll need it later!
Then you are going to want to take your texturizing spray, I used Wool Shake by Redken but I also like Surf Spray by Bumble and Bumble, and spritz it all over your hair. Whilst you're doing that, scrunch your hair with the other hand. Thusly...
Then I take my ghetto mirror that is broken and check the back of my hair and make sure I don't have any flat spots. I use my comb to fluff up anyspots that look matted down. The thing about this syle is you want it to look messy. It should NOT look perfect! Then I spray a medium hold hairspray all over and scrunch a little more for hold. Then I mist a shine spray (like my Bb Shine) all over. You're done!
Hair DO's
- A dramatic side part will keep it looking cool.
- Try out different texturizing sprays to see what works best for you
- EMBRACE THE MESSY
Hair DONTS
- Don't go for the 90's 'wet look'. Thats a big NC(not cute).
- Dont stress over it looking perfect
Happy Messy Hair Day!

- Florence+The Machine's Pandora station
- A doughnut someone brought into work
That would be my problem, I don't embrace the messiness!
